DIRECTIONS
Age/Dosage:
Adults and children 12 years and over - 10 mL
Children 6 to 11 years - 5 mL
Children 4 to 5 years - Do not use unless directed by a doctor

WARNINGS
Do not use:
β’ To make a child sleepy
β’ With any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin
β’ If you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinsonβs disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
Ask a doctor before use if the child has:
β’ Heart disease
β’ High blood pressure
β’ Thyroid disease
β’ Diabetes
β’ Trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
β’ A breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis
β’ Glaucoma
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is taking sedatives or tranquilizers.
When using this product:
β’ Do not exceed recommended dose
β’ Marked drowsiness may occur
β’ Avoid alcoholic drinks
β’ Alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness
β’ Be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery
β’ Excitability may occur, especially in children
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
β’ Nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur
β’ Symptoms do not improve within 7 days or occur with a fever
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
Use only as directed. Do not use more than one BENADRYL diphenhydramine product at the same time.
