The Skil-Care blanket is designed to be adjustable. Multiple pockets allow the parent,
caregiver or user the choice of how much weight to apply, and where to apply it. The weights can be easily moved throughout the blanket for proper weight distribution. The blanket is sold without gel weights and is offered in two sizes: 56”L x 36”W (36 Pockets) or 63”L x 42”W (49 Pockets). The gel weights are sold separately. If necessary, multiple gel weights can be placed in each pocket.

Application
Each blanket contains individual weight pockets. The larger 63”L x 42”W blanket has 49 pockets, the 54”L x 36”W blanket has 36 pockets. Place the weights in the pocket by lifting the pocket flap, slide the weights into the pocket and then reset the pocket flap to prevent the gel-weight from sliding out. Pocket selection and placement of the weights is very subjective and specific to the individual needs and will determine the effectiveness of the blanket. This process should be adjusted and monitor by the caregiver.

Cleaning Methods
The blanket (only) can laundered at temperatures (180°F, 82°C or lower); Caution: Gel Weights must be removed. The individual gel-weights can be wipe clean with non-chlorine disinfectant.

Warnings
The gel weights are not a toy and should only be used in the blanket with proper supervision. The Adult weights are not CPSIA compliant and should not be used on a child. There are no metal parts in this blanket and can be used in any hospital.
