Today, Med-Mizer has innovated the ActiveCare™ Bed to solve this challenge.  The ActiveCare™ is the first US-manufactured rotating hospital bed with innovative technology to help improve mobility, comfort, independence, and the safety of both the individual and caregiver.
For anyone looking to remain independent due to a progressive illness or injury, the ActiveCare™ can allow you to safely transfer in and out of bed.

The ActiveCare bed gives the user control over the revolutionary pivoting function of MedMizer's Bed with the touch of a button. The Auto-Pivot feature is integrated into the pendant controls and assists with standing, sitting upright, and transferring in and out of bed. It allows the bed to transition into a seated position where the user can place their feet on the floor and safely enter or exit the bed.  Thus making shifting, scooting, and swinging one’s legs over the side of the bed unnecessary. 

ActiveCare Auto-Pivot Bed w/ Fixed Height Frame

The fixed height frame features a standard height of 12.5". The 12.5" fixed height option is built with a stationary base that does not include wheels for bed transport. If you require your Auto-Pivot bed to be mobile, consider upgrading to include 3'' rolling casters.

What Makes This Different:

All positioning adjustments and auto-pivot functions can be made with the hand pendant that is included with the ActiveCare Auto-Pivot bed.  What really makes the Auto-Pivot Bed different is the ability to be disconnected at the foot section.  A caregiver can easily push the foot section away from the sleeping surface to create a sitting surface that is just like a chair.  The foot section will now be out of the user’s way, making transfers, care, and therapy much easier and safer. The back of the bed can also achieve a High Fowler position (close to 90º) for users who need to sit in an upright position. The Auto-Pivot bed features a unique sheet design due to its moving parts. A set of sheets comes standard with purchase.

Why We Like It:

The ActiveCare Auto-Pivot bed provides a safe option for transfers and assists the user in more quickly recovering from their injury by fostering independence of the user or minimizing the amount of assistance needed by a caregiver. The bed comes in a standard width of 36" but can be ordered in a wider 42" width if needed.

What You Need To Know When Ordering:

The bed can be exited to the user’s left or right. The bed's actuator must be programmed at the time of ordering.

Unless you choose otherwise, your ActiveCare Auto-Pivot bed will be delivered via FREE residential delivery to your home in a large, heavy box. Our White Glove Delivery option is available, which includes setting up your new bed and removing all wrapping and packaging.

Welds – Lifetime Warranty
We guarantee all structural welds for the life of the product. Should any weld fail under normal use, we will repair or replace the component at no cost to you.

Frame – 15-Year Warranty
The frame is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase. This ensures long-term peace of mind and product reliability.

Electronics & Motors – 3-Year Warranty
All electronic components, control systems, and motors are protected for a full three (3) years from the date of purchase. This includes defects in materials, workmanship, and functionality under normal use.

Warranty Terms & Conditions
Coverage: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Exclusions: Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, accidents, or commercial use is not covered.

Claim Process: To file a warranty claim, please contact our customer support team with proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.

Remedy: At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund any defective component that falls within the terms of this warranty.
