The Skil-Care Light Sensory Box is 16" x 16" x 7" and features an illuminated frosted light screen area of 15.5" x 15.5" that can be used alone or in conjunction with Skil-Care Gel Pads and Gel Shapes.

The light box’s frosted light screen features two illumination setting. The unit can be placed in pressure sensitive mode to turn on and off intermittently when activated or it can be set to steady on mode to provide continuous illumination. The unit is designed to work in conjunction with Skil-Care’s sensory stimulation gel pads. The gel pads on their own encourage color recognition activities and manipulation for tactile stimulation, while improving eye hand coordination and hand/finger strengthening. (Sold separately) When the gel pads are combined with the Light Box the sensory stimulation experience is heightened to increase attention span and/or just add more fun. The unit can also be used to illuminate drawings and transparent objects for viewing or tracing.

The light box features a 15” x 15” light screen with a raised edge to prevent lighted objects from falling off. The illuminated surface can also be used to backlight translucent gel shapes that provide visual and tactile stimulation for children and adults. It also provides a surface for artists, photographers and children to illuminate drawings, transparent objects for the purpose of viewing or tracing. Numerous optional gel pads are available from Skil-Care Corporation that are designed to be used with the light box.

Cautions:
• The unit may be cleaned, with a damp cloth that contains soap or any cleaner. Do not spray any liquid directly on the product.
• Do not attempt to dismantle product, call customer care at 800-431-2972 if there are any issues with product.
• This product can be used by any child. However it should not be used without proper supervision of a parent or professional who can assess the abilities and limitations of the user.

Operation:
• Make sure on-off switch is in OFF position.
• Plug unit into the wall outlet.
• Turn unit to “Steady On”, unit will light up continuously.
• Turn unit off.
• Turn unit on to “Press On”, then press top of unit for it to light. In this mode the unit will light up only when pressed.
• Turn unit off
• Turn to off position when unit is not in use.
• When ready to use, place gel pads or item to be traced on the unit and set the switch to the desired position.
