The MedRiser is a great versatile lift. The MedRiser can function as a standard lift raising and lowering the patient to and from a bed, chair or commode. The MedRiser can even lift a patient from the floor. The MedRiser can also function as a gait trainer. A 6-point spreader bar creates the ultimate in stability as well as comfort for the user when suspended in the lift’s sling. The 6-point stable spreader bar is particularly helpful for those who are nervous about being positioned in a sling, those who are prone to highly active spasms and those who may try and resist being transported or raised and lowered by a patient lift.

What Makes This Different:

The versatility of the MedRiser is what really sets it apart from most other lifts. Very few patient lifts can pick up the user from the floor, assist them on and off a bed or chair as well as be used in the restroom for shower and commode positioning. Patients who are trying to regain their walking ability or improve the quality and strength of their ambulation can also use the MedRiser as a gait trainer. The MedRiser comes standard with power height adjustability as well as base adjustability. Having a power base means the attendant will not have to struggle with opening and closing the legs of the lift manually. This is especially helpful for smaller or older attendants, family members and spouses. A long lift arm or “boom” distances the suspended patient as far as possible from the mast and actuator. This benefit means the user’s knees and body will not hit or rub again the mast of the lift while they are being positioned by an attendant.

All accessories and items that were included in the box must be returned. Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return. An RA (Return Authorization) from Shop Home Med must be requested within 30 days of delivery. The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 14 days.
