Application
Place the curved foot elevator beneath the knees, ensuring the higher curve is positioned correctly to off-load the heels. Note that the two sizes correspond to the stature indicated in the chart; however, the heights are not exact due to variations in torso and leg lengths. If the foot-drop block is desired, determine whether the 90° or 110° plane is needed. Face the appropriate plane towards the resident and adjust the distance between the components by varying the length of the strap. Loop the strap on the block through the loop on the curved foot elevator and secure it with the Velcro back strap.

Caution
When using this system, ensure the heels are properly off-loaded and that the component sizes are comfortable for the resident. If discomfort is noted, consider alternative Skil-Care devices. Slight modifications can be made by trimming the foam on the bottom of the foot elevator if necessary.

Easy Care
All materials covering the foam are water-resistant and can be wiped clean with a standard disinfectant.
