Wedge Foam Wheelchair Cushion is recommended for those who need to lean back in the wheelchair for a better sitting posture and to reduce sliding. Ideal for those who have incontinence, the Wedge Foam Wheelchair Cushion is covered with a heat-sealed anti-bacterial vinyl for a wipe-clean cushion.

Two-toned wedges for wheelchair positioning assist caretakers with a visual reminder. By establishing prescribed hours when the black or yellow surfaces should be facing up, caregivers can easily determine if repositioning protocols are being followed. The Wedge high-density foam Wheelchair Cushion is recommended for pressure elimination. An incontinent-proof cover is included for easy maintenance. 

Note:  All vinyl-covered, soft foundation wedges are supplied with two-color surfaces. The same is true of wedges with cloth outer covers, vinyl inner covers, foam filling, and soft foundations. Remove the cloth covers if you want to use the two-color surfaces.

• Polyester Cover vs. Low Shear II Cover: Polyester is a knitted fabric that stretches to reduce skin-damaging shear forces. The Low Shear II fabric is a 2-way stretch, breathable polyurethane with a laminated polyester coating that reduces skin-damaging shear forces.

Product Care Instructions:
• Polyester covers may be laundered and dried at temperatures up 180°C). Bleach is not recommended. Vinyl covers may be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
• Do not launder foam. Polyester covers must be removed from wedges before laundering. Do not use bleach.
